RESERVATIONS: Complete registration form for each delegate attending with meal selections and mail to District Convention Chairman, Mary Mattson, with one club check for all attendees-made payable to GFWC/CFWC San Bernardino District, no later than Friday, March 24, 2017.
Please be sure to indicate which members are delegates (for voting purposes) and all first time attendees. This is very important as the Credentials Committee will have name tags with correct designations for all attending the Convention. Link to printable PDF of RESERVATION FORM

Philanthropic Project: Personal hygiene items for the “Salvation Army Transitional Living Center” are always needed.

Table Centerpieces: Each Club is asked to provide a table centerpiece which incorporates the convention theme “Springtime in Paris.” Convention attendees will vote for their favorite centerpiece and the centerpieces will go home with the clubs.

Club Baskets: Each club is asked to donate a basket worth $25.00 or more for the Convention Fund Raiser.

Memorial Service: Club Presidents please send names of members you wish to be included in this memorial service by April 1, 2017. Send information to Kathy Holm, Inspiration Chairman, at 1170 W. James, Rialto, CA 92376 or email her at kathleeniholm@gmail.com

Motions: Should you wish to make a motion, please contact Sharon Hughes, District Recording Secretary at 909-844-8031, in advance of the convention and bring three (3) copies of the motion to the meeting. Table Rentals: Vendors may rent table space by sending a check for twenty-five dollars ($25) payable to GFWC/CFWC San Bernardino District and mail to the District Convention Chairman, Mary Mattson at 14758 Alabama Ct, Fontana, CA 92336. Voting Rules: Representation at Convention is guided by our Bylaws, Article VIII:

Section 2. Representation – Voting Body  The Voting Body shall consist of District Officers, Presidents of Clubs or their alternates, Past District Presidents, Chairmen of Programs, Chairmen and members of Standing Committees, Special Appointees, CFWC Officers and CFWC Chairmen residing in the District and Delegates. Each club in good standing is entitled to representation at the Convention by its President or her alternate and one (1) delegate. Clubs having membership over twenty-five (25) shall be entitled to one (1) delegate for each additional twenty-five (25) members or major fraction thereof.

Section 3. No delegate shall be allowed to represent more than one club nor have more than one (1) vote regardless of the number of positions held. Voting by proxy, either verbal or in writing shall be permitted.

Section 4. The Recording Secretary of each club shall verify to the Credentials Committee, at least one (1) week before the Annual Convention, the names of delegates and alternates from her club.

Section 5. Members of the clubs belonging to the District Federation other than delegates may be present at the Convention and may take part in the discussions but shall not propose motions or vote.

CLUB PRESIDENTS: Please send the name, address and telephone number of your incoming president to Wendy Curran wsc@pacbell.net  before convention, if possible.

You are welcome to turn in your 2017-18 dues along with the completed Club Information Form with attached alphabetical member roster (3 copies each) to District Financial Secretary, Cecile Collar. Checks should be made out to GFWC/CFWC San Bernardino District.

If they are ready,  please bring your written "State of the Club" report to the Convention. They will be published on the District website where they will be available for all to share.

WE BEEN THERE CLUB: A $25 award will be given in each size category to the club with the most new members age 50 and under. Please mail the names of the new 50-&-under members and the club name by Saturday, April 1st to: Betty Daniel, 22588 De Berry St, Grand Terrace, CA 92313
