Costume Contest (optional)

Where: Hosted by the Contemporary Club of Redlands

 173 S. Eureka
Redlands, CA

Pack up your cleverest craft projects you've completed this year and join us for a wonderful day in friendship and service. This meeting is for all club members, so invite one and all to come for a fun day.

Are you thinking of running for a District Office?  *Deadline for endorsements and resumes for candidates is December 31, 2015.*

The attending clubs are challenged to provide entertainment in keeping with the theme. Think of singing or lip-syncing to 1950's and 1960's novelty songs. Of course "MONSTER MASH" comes to mind first, but there was the "Purple People Eater" and any song with "girls" can be converted to "ghouls", e.g. "Standing On the Corner, Watching All the Ghouls Go By", and the later "My Ghoul". or  "Going to The Graveyard and We're Going to Get Buried"--that all-time hit.  Or a club could choose to read spooky poetry, like "The Raven" by Poe or "Little Orphan Annie" by James Whitcomb Riley. And there's always the possibility of a silent film interpretation of "The Phantom of the Opera" or "Frankenstein". Contact 3rd VP/Programs Chairman, Lynne Youngstrom, at (909) 909-987-1137 to book time on the agenda.

If you have UNECEF donations, please bring them as the
charitable donation for the day.  Personal hygiene items are always needed, too, for the Salvation Army Emergency/Transitional Living Center.
